Product Description
Move the needle. The Kryo (-10) fastpitch softball bat delivers unmatched feel, sound and performance and a balanced swing weight to help all types of hitters deliver consistent contact. An all-new patented GO-EX1 Barrel System, centered around a composite gapped wall design and internal disc system, works in collaboration with the groundbreaking XPND End Cap to deliver the largest sweet spot ever on a Louisville Slugger fastpitch bat.
GO-EX1 Barrel System
Courtesy of high-performing gapped wall composite construction and a durable internal disc system, Kryo’s GO-EX1 Barrel delivers incredible performance and feel from the first swing.
VTX Connection System
The Louisville Slugger Kryo features a two-piece composite construction, using a VTX Connection System to pair the GO-EX1 Barrel System with a composite handle. When a player makes contact, the VTX Connection System allows for independent movement between the barrel and handle. This results in a best-in-class feel and less vibration in the hands.
Kryo’s distinct weight drops each feature their own distinct feel. While lighter (-11) models are easy-swinging for slap hitters, heavier models like the (-9) and (-8) offer a stiffer swing optimized for elite power hitters. All models offer a balanced swing weight to help players maximize barrel control.
Engineered for every type of hitter – from contact-oriented slappers to middle-of-the-order power threats, the 2025 Kryo Fastpitch Bat from Louisville Slugger delivers what players crave: incredible performance, an unbelievable sound and an unmatched feel.
The secret? An all-new GO-EX1 Barrel System that pairs a composite gapped wall barrel design and vibration-dampening VTX Connection System with a patented XPND End Cap that expands the sweet spot out further toward the end of the bat, delivering improved performance.
The Louisville Slugger Kryo will appear in multiple sizes across four distinct weight drops – (-11), (-10), (-9) and (-8) – ensuring there is a size and weight for any hitter in the batting order.
When given the opportunity to swing Kryo for the first time, Louisville Slugger athlete Daniel Gibson Whorton said the bat helps create hard contact while still feeling good through the swing.
